<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a technology by which the using cost of sub-raw material can be reduced and also, the thraw-away quantity of ladle-slag can be decreased and, as a result, the slag-treating cost can be reduced, by using the ladle-slag generated at the ladle-refining on decarbonizing and improving the using unit consumption thereof. <P>SOLUTION: When the decarbonize-treatment is applied by blowing oxygen from a top-blowing lance into the molten iron in a converter, the ladle-slag quantity (R) for supplying into the converter, is adjusted so that the R may hold in the range regulated in (1) formula per 1 ton of molten steel. In the (1) formula, S<SB POS="POST">0</SB>is an S concentration (mass%) in the charged molten steel, S is the aimed S concentration in the molten steel at the time of completing the decarbonize-blowing, X is an S concentration (mass%) in the ladle-slag, V is basicity (CaO/SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>) at the charging time, and M is predicting quantity (kg/ton of the molten steel) of the slag in the furnace at the time of completing the decarbonize-blowing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
