<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical arm rest capable of reducing sense of incongruity felt by a user at his/her arm when the arm is fixed for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The arm rest comprises: a cushion 1 which is wholly made of a foamed plastic material, has a quadrilateral shape in plan view and a wedge shape in side view, and has a V-shape recess 19 in its upper surface; a rubber-like plate 3 which is provided on the lower surface of the cushion 1, has predetermined bending rigidity and plays a role of supporting the cushion 1 on the lower part; and a cover 2 which is made of a bag formed to integrally enclose the cushion 1 and the rubber-like plate 3, has upper and lower surfaces having waterproofness and antibacterial performance, is applied with slip preventing treatment on the lower surface 23, and has a total configuration formed of a material having predetermined elasticity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
