PURPOSE: A protective film for a display and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the impact resistance of the border of a tempered glass and to increase a manufacturing yield rate thereof. CONSTITUTION: A protective film for a display comprises a border reinforcing film(110), a tempered glass film(120), an anti-scattering layer(130), and an optical adhesion layer. An opening is formed at the center of the border reinforcing film covering a part or the entire of a non-image part. The tempered glass film and the opening have an identical size, and the tempered glass film is fit and assembled to the opening. The anti-scattering layer integrally adheres to the lower surfaces of the border reinforcing film and a tempered glass film, and is optically transparent. The optical adhesion layer adheres to the lower surface of the anti-scattering layer and can adhere to the surface of the display.
