<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper foil satisfying following conditions required for a current collector of a lithium ion secondary battery: the surface roughness of both faces of the copper foil of 2.5-10 μm; Young's modulus after heat treatment at 300°C of 48-80 GPa; and the tensile strength of 300 MPa or more. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolytic copper foil for the lithium ion secondary battery, having coarse surface roughness Rz of the electrolytic copper foil of 2.5-10 μm; tensile strength in ordinary state of ≥680 MPa; Young's modulus of 55-90 GPA; Young's modulus after heating at 300°C for 1 hour of 48-80 GPa, is made into a foil by using sulfuric acid/copper sulfate aqueous solution as electrolysis solution, and adding one kind from hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC), polypropylene glycol (PPG) or polyethylene glycol (PEG), polyethylene imine (PEI) and 3-mercaptopropylsulfonic acid (MPS) or bis(3-sulfopropyl)disulfide (SPS) and chlorine ion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
