<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scribing wheel having a V-shaped edge formed along a circumference of a disc-like wheel while improving the end face strength of a fragile material substrate which has been scribed and divided. <P>SOLUTION: An edge is formed into a V-shape to the circumference of a scribing wheel, the edge is formed into a grinding face 13 by rough grinding, then a grinding face 16 is formed by finishing grinding in such a manner that a tip end has a desired apex angle α2 larger than an apex angle α1 of the grinding face 13. Furthermore, the grinding face 16 is subjected to super-finishing grinding to form a grinding face 17. Thus, the unevenness of a ridge line of the edge can be reduced, and the end face strength of the fragile material substrate when scribed can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
