<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive device capable of suppressing deterioration of driving force of a driving mechanism for driving a lens even when the device is downsized. <P>SOLUTION: A lens drive device 1 includes: a movable body 2 capable of moving in the direction of an optical axis of a lens; a fixed body 3 for retaining the movable body 2 to be capable of moving in the direction of the optical axis; a drive mechanism for driving the movable body 2 in the direction of the optical axis; and a leaf spring 6 connecting the movable body 2 and the fixed body 3 inside the fixed body 3 and at the same time on one end side in the direction of the optical axis. The drive mechanism includes a drive coil and a drive magnet disposed inside the fixed body 3. The fixed body 3 includes a terminal 14 for power supply for supplying current to the drive coil and a base member 11 to which the terminal 14 for power supply is fixed and composing one end side portion of the fixed body 3 in the direction of the optical axis. The leaf spring 6 has the drive coil electrically connected.
