<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lidding film for food, non-food and medical packages, which has excellent moisture proofness and vapor barrier properties, and preferably peelable with good tear propagation properties. <P>SOLUTION: A package includes a container having a top opening and a peripheral rim around the opening, and a peelable lid attached around a circumference of the rim and having a shape which conforms to the shape of the opening.
