The purpose to be achieved by the present invention is to provide a technique for the inexpensive mass production of a cell culture vessel that enables the mass culture of cells while keeping the cells in a steadily detachable state. The present invention is a method for producing a cell culture vessel which is provided with a vessel part having such a structure that a cell support film is fixed onto an inner wall surface of a closed inner chamber in the vessel part and which is suitable for mass culture, said method comprising: cutting a long cell support film to produce a sheet-like cell support film; fixing the film onto a first member having an opened structure; and then bonding the first member to another member.
