<p>Oscillatory wave motor devices, which are capable of drive interruption while maintaining a holding torque in a state in which the generation of abnormal noises is suppressed, are provided. These oscillatory wave motor devices (30, 40) are provided with: an oscillatory wave motor (30) having a first elastic body (311L), which oscillates due to a first electro-mechanical energy conversion element (312L), a second elastic body (311U), which oscillates due to a second electro-mechanical conversion element (312U), and a relative motion member (32) that comes into contact with the first elastic body and the second elastic body with pressure, and is driven in either a first direction (CW) or a second direction (CCW), which is opposite to the first direction, by the oscillation of the first elastic body and/or the second elastic body; a signal generation unit (42) that generates first drive signals C1 and C2, second drive signals A1 and A2, and second drive signals B1 and B2; a switching unit (43) capable of switching between applying one of the drive signals to the first electro-mechanical energy conversion element and the second electro-mechanical conversion element; and a control unit (44) that controls the switching unit.</p> |
