The invention prevents an electrical wire cover from receiving an adverse effect caused by interference of a tool. A connector (10) is provided with: an electrical wire cover (30) that covers an electrical wire outlet surface (12) of a first housing (11); a bolt (17) to be manipulated by being screwed in with a tool (21) from an outer surface side of the electrical wire cover (30); a tubular section (34) in a form in which an outer wall surface of the electrical wire cover (30) is indented so as to enable insertion of the tool (21), said tubular section (34) having arranged on the bottom portion (38) thereof, a tool(21)-interlocking section (19) of the bolt (17); and an interference section (39) formed in the tubular section (34), said interference section (39) allowing the tool (21) to interfere with the electrical wire cover (30) only when the angle formed by the intersection of the axis (17A) of the bolt (17) with the axis (21A) of the tool (21) at the interlocking section (19) as the approximate pivot point is a non-interlockable angle exceeding the interlockable range in which the tool (21) is capable of interlocking with the interlocking section (19) in a manner in which screwing of the bolt (17) is possible.
