The system has a control logic (1) for directly linking multiple images that are differently exposed and successively read out at an image sensor (2) for acquisition of scenes with high intensity dynamics by using film projection process. The control logic controls the image sensor and a light projector (3). The logic control allows subsequent film patterns (4) to be written line by line in the light projector, where the exposure of the image sensor starts with time delay after starting the light projector. An independent claim is also included for a method for acquisition of a scene with high intensity dynamics.
