<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm and a diaphragm pump capable of reducing an internal space volume of an air chamber without causing any abrasion or degradation of the diaphragm and the wall of the air chamber by arranging a floating pad formed of a material capable of mitigating an impact even if the floating pad is abutted on the inner wall surface of the air chamber, and reducing driving electric energy for supplying compressed air. <P>SOLUTION: The diaphragm is used for the diaphragm pump having a center shaft, a diaphragm chamber and a working fluid chamber, and mounted to the center shaft of the diaphragm pump. The diaphragm has a floating pad which penetrates the center shaft and reduces the internal space volume of the working fluid chamber on the surface of the working fluid chamber side of the diaphragm pump. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
