<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus that has a simple configuration, and can reliably perform a wiping motion while maintaining a positional relation between a recording head and a wiper even with an increased number of recording heads forming a line head. <P>SOLUTION: The wiping of ink ejection surfaces F of twelve recording heads 17a to 17c in total forming line heads 11C to 11K can be carried out all at once in one operation by lifting up and down a substantially rectangular carriage 31 at which a plurality of wipers 35a to 35c are secured and a support frame 40 for supporting the carriage 31 by a lifting mechanism 50, and also by horizontally moving the carriage 31 relative to the support frame 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
