CEILING CRANE AND METHOD FOR REPAIRING CEILING CRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling crane which has no restriction from the clearance to a ceiling surface and is assembled with a base isolation unit that reduces the load acting a crane body when earthquake occurs.

SOLUTION: The ceiling crane 10 includes: a crane body 11 disposed at a lower part of a ceiling face T inside a building B; a traveling part 12 supporting the crane body 11 and travelling on a rail R; a slide mechanism 13 connecting the traveling part 12 and the crane body 11 enabling relative movements to a width direction perpendicularly crossing the extending direction of the rail R; a trigger mechanism 14 for restricting the relative movement of the traveling part 12 and the crane body 11 while allowing during earthquake; and a recovery and damping mechanism 15 mounted to the crane body 11 with a clearance C2 between the second vertical wall face V2 opposing in the width direction inside the building B and having a coil spring 19 and an oil damper 20.
