<p>The present invention provides a method for determining quantization parameters for quantization and inverse quantization implemented in video coding and video decoding, and a device for the same. Provided is a method for determining quantization parameters, the method comprising: determining conversion units, of at least one size, included in a coding unit; reducing a quantization parameter for the conversion units, among the multiple conversion units, which are larger than a predetermined size, on the basis of a basic quantization parameter for a coding unit, such that the parameter is less than the basic quantization parameter; and increasing the quantization parameter for the conversion units which are smaller than a predetermined size, such that the parameter is more than the basic quantization parameter.</p> |
