PURPOSE: A portable terminal and a control method thereof are provided to enable a specific user to easily share note information with other devices by using a third layer which overlaps at least one of a first layer and a second layer. CONSTITUTION: A first layer in a plurality of three-dimensional layers outputs video information on a touch screen. A second layer in the plurality of the three-dimensional layers outputs book information for the video information. A third layer outputs note information. The third layer is a transparent layer. The third layer is overlapped with a part of the second layer. A control unit(1180) of a first portable terminal generates the note information corresponding to a touch line of the third layer through the touch screen.
