<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an oxychlorination catalyst which has small uneven distribution of a metal component for each of particles of the oxychlorination catalyst and which has excellent activity and selectivity. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the oxychlorination catalyst comprises: a step (1) of depositing copper chloride and a chloride of a group 1 element of the periodic table, at the least, on a hollow cylindrical alumina carrier; and a step (2) of putting the hollow cylindrical alumina carrier on which the copper chloride and the chloride of the group 1 element of the periodic table after the step (1), at the least, are deposited, in a tray with a cover and firing the carrier-housed tray in a batch type firing apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
