The unit has a writing device arranged in a housing (2) and punctually and/or linearly delivering writing agent according to write movement carried out by a hand. The device has a pin e.g. blind pin, experiencing deflection following the write movement. Sensors detect the deflection of the pin and transmit in form of data to an electronic processing unit (3) for detection and representation of written elements in printing form. The processing unit is arranged as a component of the housing and/or a key board (1) and has a unit for transfer of data to an external data processing apparatus.
