<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect a device in which a fault has occurred. <P>SOLUTION: Executing means 2a executes exclusive processing to an information processing device 3. The executing means 2a stores, in the information processing device 3, control information D1 including identification information of an information processing device 2 and information indicating the progress of the processing. The executing means 2a updates the information indicating the progress of the processing while executing the processing. Monitoring means 1b monitors the control information D1 stored in the information processing device 3, and detects that the identification information and the information indicating the progress of the processing included in the control information D1 are the same for a predetermined time or longer.
