PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform air conditioning suitable for the sense of an occupant of a vehicle through simple processing.

SOLUTION: The vehicle air conditioner having a cabin divided into a plurality zones, each of which can be independently air-conditioned includes: a solar radiation sensor 43 provided near a boundary between adjacent first and second air-conditioning zones 201, 202 to measure an incident angle of sunlight; a determination part for determining whether the incident angle of the sunlight detected by the solar radiation sensor falls within a predetermined range or not; a first control part for performing the same air-conditioning control on the first and second air-conditioning zones when the incident angle of the sunlight falls within the predetermined range; and a second control part for performing different air-conditioning controls on the first and second zones when the incident angle of the sunlight is beyond the predetermined range.
