<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of diagnosing a brain damage-related disorder or its possibility for a subject who may be affected thereby. <P>SOLUTION: The brain damage-related disorder of the subject is diagnosed by detecting one or more kinds of polypeptide or variants or mutants thereof in a body fluid sample sampled from the subject.
