<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring and control apparatus that automatically selects symbols to be displayed at normal times and in emergencies and displays the selected symbol on a graphic screen to make duplicated management of the graphic screen dispensable. <P>SOLUTION: A table, in which an emergency level matching an emergency of a plant is preset for each symbol on a graphic screen, is stored in a data memory 1e; when an alarm for which the emergency level of a plant emergency is received by a data transceiver 1d from a plant control network 2, a data controller 1c determines the presence of an emergency and sets a monitoring and control apparatus 1 to an emergency mode; a display controller 1b, when detecting the emergency mode, compares the emergency level set for the alarm with emergency levels each set for one or another of the symbols in the table, and displays on a screen 1a only the symbols for which emergency levels not below the emergency level for the alarm are set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
