LIQUID CRYSTAL MEDIUM FOR USE IN 2D/3D DISPLAY CHANGEOVER SWITCH

A liquid crystal medium for use in a 2D/3D display changeover switch. The liquid crystal medium comprises a liquid crystal composition. The liquid crystal composition comprises at least a compound as represented by formula (I) that accounts for 20-99% of the total weight of the liquid crystal medium and at least a compound as represented by formula (II) and accounts accounting for 1-80% of the total weight of the liquid crystal composition. The liquid crystal medium is provided with a favorable n value, a relatively greater TN-I, and a relatively lower V90/V10, and is highly applicable in controlling liquid crystal switches for changeover between 2D/3D displays. Also provided in the present invention is the 2D/3D display changeover switch comprising the liquid crystal medium.
