A half-capacity operational state discharge flow volume calculation means (M1) calculates the discharge flow volume when a variable capacity pump (OP) is in the half-capacity operational state, and a required discharge flow volume calculation means (M2) calculates a required discharge flow volume for the variable capacity pump (OP), which is set in accordance with the operational state of the vehicle. When the difference between the discharge flow volume calculated by the half-capacity operational state discharge flow volume calculation means (M1) and the required discharge flow volume calculated by the required discharge flow volume calculation means (M2) is equal to or greater than a prescribed determination threshold value, an operational state switching means (M3) switches the variable capacity pump (OP) to the half-capacity operational state, so the variable capacity pump (OP) operates at half-capacity as much as possible while maintaining the minimum required discharge flow volume, thereby enabling the driving energy for the variable capacity pump (OP) to be conserved. The required discharge flow volume calculation means (M2) calculates the required discharge flow volume on the basis of the flow volume required for changing gears with the transmission, the flow volume of the leakage from the hydraulic circuit of the transmission, and the flow volume required for lubricating the transmission, so an accurate required discharge flow volume can be calculated.
|
