<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently provide a sealing material to a member constituting a fuel cell and eliminate such risk that the member is deformed in providing the sealing material. <P>SOLUTION: A resin material serving as sealing materials 10a, 10b is mounted on a marginal part of a member, such as a separator 12, constituting a fuel cell. When the resin material is a film made of a thermoplastic resin, the film is, for example, pressed with a mold after laminate processing.
