<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging stand for an electric vehicle which holds a part of a charging cable without reducing the number of power supply parts that may be housed therein. <P>SOLUTION: A charging stand for an electric vehicle includes: a box shaped stand body 1; and a power supply unit 2 and an outlet unit 3 which are housed in the stand body 1 and supply electric power to a charging cable 4 serving as a feed line to an electric vehicle. The charging cable 4 has an electric cable 41 and a charging gun 40. The stand body 1 includes a holder 5, holding the charging gun 40 and serving as a holding part holding a portion of the charging cable 4 that excludes the electric cable 41, on a right side surface.
