<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently controlling multiple types of sheets, by reducing complexity of processing of a worker, concerning the work in which sheet replacement frequently occurs. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: a sheet feeding unit for storing a partition sheet describing sheet type information that is information concerning the sheet and characteristics of the sheets; a detection means for detecting the partition sheet stored in the sheet feeding unit; and a printing means for printing an image formed according to an input print job, by using the sheet fed from the sheet feeding unit. When the image formation by the printing means is completed prior to the detection of the partition sheet by the detection means, the apparatus ejects the partition sheet stored in the sheet feeding unit, and also the sheet stored in the sheet feeding unit and not used for printing by the printing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
