<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground fault detector capable of highly accurately detecting a ground fault in response to capacitance of a common mode capacitor without complicating a circuit configuration. <P>SOLUTION: When determination of a ground fault of a high-voltage power source system 10 mounted on a vehicle in an insulated state is performed on the basis of a threshold value, a controller 43 of a ground fault detector 40 switches the threshold value to a threshold value of the determination of the ground fault corresponding to capacitance of a common mode capacitor different depending upon ON and OFF states of an SMR20 and performs the determination of the ground fault on the basis of the threshold value of the determination of the ground fault switched. Hereby, detection of the ground fault in response to the capacitance of the common mode capacitor can be performed.
