<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent detachment in a connection part between a flexible printed circuit (FPC) and a circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: An optical module 1 has a circuit board 4, a TOSA 5, a first FPC 7 and an FPC holder 10. The FPC holder 10 comprises: a first arm 12 including a first part 12a extending from a side surface 11a along a principal surface 4a, a second part 12b extending from the first part 12a along an end face 4c, and a third part 12c extending from the second part 12b along a rear face 4b; a second arm 13 including a protrusion part 13b protruding toward the principal surface 4a; and a third arm 14 including a fourth part 14a extending from the side surface 11a along the principal surface 4a, a fifth part 14b extending from the fourth part 14a along the end face 4c, and a sixth part 14c extending from the fifth part 14b along the rear face 4b. The protrusion part 13b presses, to the principal surface 4a, a wiring part 7c provided between one end connected to the principal surface 4a and the other end connected to the TOSA 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
