<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-type portable image display apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An image display apparatus 1 has: a display unit main body 10 including a rectangular chassis 11, a display 12 and a drive unit 14 for driving the display 12; and a housing 20 housing the display unit main body 10. The display unit main body 10 is configured to include: the display 12 attached to the front face of the chassis 11 while being interposed by a heat-conducting sheet 13; and drive members 14a-14c disposed in a transverse direction on the back side of the chassis 11. The chassis 11 has a plurality of openings 112. The openings 112 are formed in front of drive circuit boards 140a-140c of the drive unit 14 to meet areas facing current-conducting sections where conductive wiring materials (a wiring pattern section of a drive circuit board, a soldering area for connecting electronic components etc.) are exposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
