The housing (1) partially receives the printed circuit board (3A) of one of the two different types of electronic controller modules. The first type of electronic controller module is designed for the control of drive unit on the first side of motor vehicle, and the second type of electronic controller module is designed for the control of drive unit on the second side of motor vehicle. The first side of the vehicle is arranged transversely opposite to the vehicle longitudinal axis. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a kit for electronic controller module with housing; and (2) a method for mounting electronic controller module.
