<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building board to be attached to a building, having a wide based protrusion with slopes arranged at upper and lower sides of the top face as an apex of the protrusion in the vertical direction, respectively, which allows the stereoscopic effect of the protrusion to be enhanced when an observer views the building board; and a decoration method. <P>SOLUTION: A building board 20 has a surface with a protrusion 50 for decoration. The protrusion 50 including a top face 51, a first slope 53, and a second slope 55 has a wide based shape spread toward the base edge 57 of the protrusion 50. The top face 51 constitutes an apex of the protrusion 50. In a state that the building board 20 is attached to a building, the first slope 53 is arranged at lower side of the top face 51 in the vertical direction while the second slope 55 is arranged at upper side of the same. And the building board 20 is decorated so that the first slope 53 has lower brightness in the L*a*b* colorimetric system according to JIS Z 8729:2004 than the top face 51, while the second slope 55 has higher brightness than the top face 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
