The 'Flag and Sign Holder' provides an effective means of hoisting flags and signs on marquees and tents, it consists of a tube, which is attached to a member of the host structure by means of two 'Gates'. The 'Gate' is closed by the use of a hinged bolt. When the uppermost gate is open and the lower gate is attached, the tube may pivot in the vertical plane. To load the signs or flags the top gate is opened, the tube is swung out, limited to ninety degrees in arc. The lower gate provides the pivot point. The flag is loaded on the horizontal tube. Vertical signs and suspended flags may then be displayed. Swinging the tube back to the vertical position with both gates attached, presents the flag in the horizontal orientation. Horizontally orientated signs may be attached, with two holders in tandem on two parallel members. Figure 4 |
