<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To browse a setting operation and an apparatus status of another apparatus by using a target apparatus accessed by an operator terminal, when there is a problem in the other apparatus which is communicably connected to the target apparatus accessed by the operator terminal, not in the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal 10 detects an electrical appliance 50 connected to a local area network to which the portable terminal 10 is connected in response to an instruction from an operator terminal 150, and determines model-related information of the detected electrical appliance 50. The portable terminal 10 enables the operator terminal 150 to browse a setting operation to the electrical appliance 50 or an apparatus status of the electrical appliance 50 on the basis of the determined model-related information.
