PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which controls an image formation device on the basis of operation on an operation screen in an external terminal, and can perform reconnection conveniently even when communication between the external terminal and image formation device is disconnected.

SOLUTION: There is provided an image processing system in which: a MFP transmits an operation screen in response to a request from an external device (S101 to S105), while storing information specifying a content of the transmitted operation screen (S103); the operation screen is displayed on the external device, and a control signal corresponding to operation on the screen is transmitted to the MFP (S107); the MFP replaces the transmitted screen with a new screen depending on the control signal, and transmits the new screen (S109) while storing information specifying a content of the transmitted operation screen (S109); the MFP determines necessity of reconnection when disconnection of communication with the external device is detected (S111); and the MFP performs an action of the reconnection when it is determined that the reconnection is to be performed (S113).
