The present invention provides: an antibody specific to a C-terminal domain of human profilaggrin gene, wherein the C-terminal domain is a peptide comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 or a mutant of the peptide; and a method for detecting the abnormality of filaggrin gene and a kit for use in the detection, in each of which the antibody is used.
