PURPOSE: A structure and a method for storing hydrogen storage alloys are provided to reduce fraction defective and to maximize productivity by mechanically fitting hydrogen storage alloys storing members to an inner container. CONSTITUTION: A structure for storing hydrogen storage alloys comprises multiple hydrogen storage alloy storing members(20) which have a fitted protrusion(21), and a fitting groove(23). The fitted protrusion protrudes from the top of each hydrogen storage alloy storing member. The fitting groove is recessed upwardly from the underside of each hydrogen storage alloy storing member corresponding to the fitted protrusion. The fitted protrusion of one hydrogen storage alloy storing member is fitted into the fitting groove of the other hydrogen storage alloy storing member so that the hydrogen storage alloy storing members can be stacked.
