<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assist device to be mounted on a human body, in which the length of a frame can be adjusted easily to match a user's figure ruining neither a fastening structure with a joint mechanism nor designability, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The walking assist device is mounted on the user's body and assists user's walking. The walking assist device is provided with two or more joint mechanisms corresponding to a joint of user's lower body and the frame 14 consisting of a hollow member concluded with the joint mechanism. At ends 25 and 26 of the frame 14, an adjustment margin 28 is provided to be cut to adjust its length according to the user's figure. A fastening structure 30 concluded with the joint mechanism is formed in a portion in the frame 14 corresponding to the adjustment margin 28.
