<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive method in combination use of a power supply voltage step-up function, capable of obtaining good rotation frequency characteristics while achieving a voltage step-up function even when reducing the number of times of switching, and of being simple in cooling and countermeasures against noise. <P>SOLUTION: In a control device and system for a generator motor, a DC power supply is connected between a neutral point of a star-shaped multi-phase coil and a DC negative electrode of a multi-phase inverter, and PWM switching control of a low-side switch connected in series to a high-side switch is performed in a time period when the high-side switch of the inverter is turned off at driving a switch element of the inverter by so-called rectangular wave conduction. When a switching start time point of the low-side switch is defined as α, and a switching termination time point of the same is defined as β while using a time point when the high-side switch is turned off as a reference point, β-α is equal to or larger than 120 degrees (electric angle degree), α is larger than 0 degrees, and β is less than 180 degrees. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
