<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sharp directivity over a wide frequency band even if distances from a sound source to microphones in a microphone array are different from one another. <P>SOLUTION: In a microphone array 2, microphones 8-1 to 8-8 constitute seven microphone units, and a beam forming unit 12 receives sound signals inputted from the seven microphone units and outputs a sound signal having a directivity obtained by composing the directivities of the respective microphones. For delay circuits 10-1 to 10-8, delay amounts are adjusted to match delays which occur in sound signals from the respective microphones, on the basis of differences between the respective distances between the sound source and the respective microphones. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
