<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cigarette filter simplifying the production of a hand-rolled cigarette and suppressing excessive heat conduction to a smoker's lips and a fall in the taste of a cigarette during smoking. <P>SOLUTION: The cigarette filter 1 used for producing the hand-rolled cigarette by rolling at least a part of it in wrapping paper together with a smoking plant, includes an outer surface 4 having grooves 5, and a hollow portion used as a smoke passage 6, and is formed of an incombustible material. The surface area of the outer surface 4 of the cigarette filter 1 is increased by providing the grooves 5, and the cigarette filter 1 is efficiently cooled to suppress excessive heat conduction to the smoker's lips. The cigarette filter 1 has an external shape of octagonal prism, and when rolling the wrapping paper around the cigarette filter 1, inward direction creases are formed on the wrapping paper by angular portions 3 of the cigarette filter 1 to easily produce the hand-rolled cigarette. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
