<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient method for thermally treating an expanded steel product such as, for example, a rod, pipe, and workpiece, while the steel product moves, capable of quickly increasing the temperature of the spread steel product. <P>SOLUTION: Steel products 13, 14, 33, 34, and 35 are heated by DFI (Direct Flame Impact) burners 6 to 11 and 16 to 20, and a set of the burners 6 to 11 and 16 to 20 is arranged so as to substantially cover the periphery of the steel products and is integrated into devices 2 to 4 and 13 configured to convey the steel products in a direction perpendicular to a plane on which the burner flame is substantially located. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
