<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selector valve, in which damage of a sealing material can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The selector valve 1 is configured to switch a flow passage by rotating a valve element 3 provided in a body 2 through a shaft 4. In the selector valve 1, an outer periphery of the valve element 3 is formed on a conical-shaped conical surface 31, and a moving means for moving the valve element 3 to the direction of the shaft 4 to form a clearance S between the conical surface 31 of the valve element 3 and a conical surface 21 of the body 2 is provided when the valve element 3 rotates.
