<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle exterior part capable of obtaining lighting effect having excellent visibility and directivity of transmitted light. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicle exterior part 1 attached to a vehicle, the exterior part 1 is constituted of an exterior body 3 composed of a base body 2 and a light transmissive material covering the outer surface of the base body 2 and a surface treated part 31 having brightness and the light transmission property is provided in the exterior body 3. A light emitting body 32 is provided between the base body 2 and the exterior body 3 and an elastic member 33 blocking light from the light emitting body 32 is provided between the base body 2 near the light emitting body 32 and the exterior body 3. When the light emitting body 32 does not work by the elastic member 33 blocking the light, the brightness-treated exterior body 3 is turned to a design surface and when the light emitting body 32 works, the design surface is suitably structured by the transmitted light by emitting the adequate transmission light in an optional area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
