The connection (1) has a connection partner (5) i.e. cast part, comprising a threaded hole (3) that is unthreaded before producing the screw connection. Another connection partner (9) i.e. head screw, comprises a threaded shaft (7) screwed or screwable into the threaded hole in a self-tapping manner. The threaded hole and the threaded shaft exhibit respective tapers, where the threaded shaft taper is greater than or equal to the threaded hole taper. A cross-section of each connection partner is formed in a Trilobular(RTM: thread rolling screw) shape. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a screw connection.
