PURPOSE: A curved spring inspection device and an inspection method are provided to improve workability and reliability of inspecting the curved spring. CONSTITUTION: A curved spring inspection device comprises a flat plate type backlight(110), a fixed camera(120), a movable camera(120), 3-axis transporting units(141, 143), and an inspection controller(150). The backlight provides a space where the curved spring is plated and emits lights. The fixed camera is arranged perpendicularly in the upper part of the backlight and photographs the whole images of the curved spring placed on the backlight. The movable camera magnify-photographs partial images of the curved spring. The 3-axis transporting units transport the movable camera in an X-axis, a Y-axis, and a Z-axis. The inspection controller moves the movable camera by controlling the 3-axis transporting units based on the images photographed by the fixed camera and the movable camera and determines the existence of the faulty curved spring by analyzing the images photographed by the movable camera.
