PURPOSE: A handle assembly and a cleaner with the same are provided to smoothly rotate by indirectly applying THE elastic force of a lever arm to a handle. CONSTITUTION: A handle assembly for a cleaner comprises a handle fixing part(42), a handle(40), a push member(80), a pair of lever arms(90), and an elastic unit. The handle fixing part is installed in a cleaner body. The handle is rotationally mounted on the handle fixing part. The push member rotates with the handle and is installed between the lever arms. The lever arms are rotationally mounted on the handle fixing part. The elastic unit is arranged between the lever arms to apply attraction.
