<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely read and print printing data from a communication terminal, while widely securing a placing surface. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet printer 1, in a printer housing 2, includes: an inkjet head 26; an antenna 49 for receiving a radio wave by NFC; and a carriage 25 on which the inkjet head 26 and the antenna 49 are mounted. The printer housing 2 is provided with the placing surface on which the communication terminal enabling communication by the NFC is placed. In the inkjet printer 1, when the communication terminal is placed on the placing surface of the printer housing 2, the antenna 49 is moved together with the carriage 25 to a position where it can receive the radio wave from the communication terminal 70, the printing data is read from the communication terminal 70, and printing is performed on paper 100 based on the printing data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
