<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device capable of performing a read-out operation of a signal recorded in an optical disk of a different standard. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical pickup device, a first laser diode for radiating a first laser beam and a second laser diode for radiating a second laser beam are included, and a first objective lens 23 on which the first laser beam is made incident and which focuses the first laser beam on a signal recording layer of a first optical disk and a second objective lens 31 on which the second laser beam is made incident and which focuses the second laser beam on a signal recording layer of a second optical disk are arranged in the radial direction of the optical disk.
