<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric razor for efficiently guiding hair to a slit. <P>SOLUTION: The electric razor has a cutter 100 and a screen 90 reciprocally moving linearly relative to each other, and a body for supporting the cutter 100 and the screen 90. The screen 90 has a plurality of slits 93 and a plurality of blade portions 94. The axial direction of the body coincides with the longitudinal direction as the direction of the reciprocal linear movement of the screen 90 in a plan view. A screen holding portion 70 has a guiding portion 72 for guiding hair to the slit 93.
